MAKISATU Competition 2022: The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology is co-ordinating and running the Competition National Science, Technology and Innovation (MAKISATU) which was established in the year 2019 in collaboration with the Office of the President Regional Administration and Local Government (OR-PMO RALG), National Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH), Dar es salaam Institute of Technology (DIT), National Council for Technical Education (NACTE), Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) and the Ministry of Information, Communication and Information Technology.
The competition is part of the implementation of Government strategy to strengthen and develop indigenous technologies and knowledge domestic so that they can contribute to the country’s economy.
The Aim of MAKISATU Competition 2022
MAKISATU’s goal is to visualize, recognize and promote Tanzanian creativity in the fields of Science and Technology to contribute to social development efforts and economic in the country. The expected result of MAKISATU is a growing enthusiasm for innovation in the field of science and technology; use of science, technology and innovation in economic and social activities; develop creativity to reach the point of entrepreneurship; stimulate scientific and technological innovation and innovation.
