About Simba Sc: Simba Sports Club, is a Tanzanian football club, based in Kariakoo. The club was founded in 1936 under the name Kings of Football. Later, they changed their names to Eagles and Sunderland. They have renamed Simba in 1971 (Swahili for “Lion”)
Simba, along with cross-city rivals Young Africans, is one of Tanzania’s two largest clubs. Simba has won 22 league titles, five domestic cups and participated multiple times in the CAF Champions League.
