When Will March 2022 LET Result Secondary level be Released?

The March 2022 LET Result Secondary level is yet to be announced by the PCR. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will soon announce the alphabetical list of passers for the March 2022 Teachers board exam or licensure exam for teachers (LET) – Secondary level. Based on PRC Resolution No. 1439 series of 2021 The results are expected to be released between May 2-13, 2022 or in 24-32 working days after the exam. Note that results may be released ahead or beyond the target without prior notice.

Previous Licensure Examination For Teachers Review

In January 2022 The Philippines Professional Regulation Commission released Batch II LET Results in thirty days. The result this time is approximately 56% of elementary school teachers passing the exam out of 15,696 examinees. This number is still quite high compared to the 57% success rate that was recorded during the first batch.

In the last teacher’s board exam before the pandemic (September 2019), PRC announced results in fifty (50) working days. A total of 54,179 secondary teachers out of 136,523 examinees (39.68%) successfully passed the exams.

In the March 2019 LET, results were out online in forty-two (42) working days. PRC named 22,271 secondary teachers out of 85,823 examinees (25.95%) who passed the exams.

In the September 2018 exams, PRC announced LET results after fifty-two (52) working days. A total of 60,803 secondary teachers out of 126,582 examinees (48.03%) successfully hurdled the tests.

Note: From March 2013 to January 2022, average passing rate for Secondary Level exam was 38.23% or 4 out of 10 takers passed the exams.

About PRC History: The Professional Regulation Commission was first created as a national government agency by Presidential Decree (P.D.) No. 223 dated June 22, 1973, signed by then President Ferdinand E. Marcos, mandated to enforce the laws regulating the various professions. It was previously called the Office of the Board of Examiners, which was created by Republic Act No. 546 on June 17, 1950, under the aegis of the Civil Service Commission.

The PRC became operational on January 4, 1974. The office was attached to the Office of the President for general direction and coordination. On December 9, 1974, the Implementing Rules and Regulations of P.D. No. 223 were promulgated, paving the way for standardization of rules and procedures for the thirty-three (33) professions then under the CSC.
