Institute Of Tax Administration Fee Structure
The Institute of Tax Administration (ITA) is an integral part of the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA). The history of ITA dates back to the era of the former East African Community (EAC) which collapsed in 1977, with the idea of establishing ITA as an offshoot of the Mombasa Customs Training Center to train customs officials.
ITA currently operates as a training wing for the Tanzania Revenue Authority. Over the years, it has been providing a large part of the authority’s short-term local training requirements as well as some long-term specialized training courses.
The Institute offers several regular, long-term programs in customs and tax management that lead to certificates, ordinary diplomas, undergraduate and graduate awards. The institute also organizes short-term training programs and awards awards to qualified trainees.
