Archbishop Mihayo University College of Tabora (AMUCTA), a Constituent College of St Augustine University of Tanzania (SAUT), officially opened on 5th November 2010

The intention for launching the University College was in line with the goal of the Catholic Bishops of Tanzania to ensure that we have a training that would impart academic and professional skills and infuse values of civic and social learning to our students. AMUCTA, therefore, adheres to SAUT vision of holistic development of a person and respect for human dignity. Entry Requirements Into Archbishop Mihayo University College of Tabora AMUCTA

Minimum Entry Requirement Into Bachelor of Arts with Education (3 Years)

Direct entry applicants

• At least three O’level credit passes in approved subjects.
• Two principal passes in ACSEE minimum of four (4) points in the following subjects: History, Geography, Kiswahili, English Language, Literature in English, French, Arabic, Fine Art,), where A = 5, B = 4, C = 3;D = 2,E = 1

Applicants seeking admission under the equivalent qualifications

• At least three O`level credit passes in relevant subjects.
• Holders of Ordinary Diplomas, (NTA) Level 6 with a GPA of 3.0 or recognized Diploma in Education with at least grade B average in the subjects they wish to study at degree level.

Minimum Entry Requirement Into Bachelor of Business Administration

• Applicants must have two principal passes in ACSEE minimum of four (4) points, if one pass is not in mathematics, a subsidiary or pass of mathematics in o’level is required

Applicants seeking admission under the equivalent qualifications

• At least three O`level credit passes in relevant subjects.
  A recognized Diploma NTA Level 6 from a recognized Institution with an average of “B” or a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Minimum Entry Requirement Into Bachelor of Education

Direct entry applicants

• At least three O’level credit passes in approved subjects.
• Two principal passes in Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education in the following subjects: History, Geography, Kiswahili, English Language, Literature in English, French, Arabic, Fine Art, with 4.0 points. where A = 5, B = 4, C = 3,D = 2,E = 1,S = 0.5

Applicants seeking admission under the equivalent qualifications

• At least three O`level credit passes in relevant subjects.
• A recognized Diploma in Education with an average of “B” or a minimum GPA of 3.0..
