Central Application Clearing House 2022 | CACH Application 2022: The Central Application Clearing House service (CACH Application), will be available From 22 January 2022 (the day following the publication of the National Senior Certificate results) to the end of March 20,22
The Central Application Clearing House, (CACH), assists applicants in grade 12 who wish to pursue tertiary education but have difficulty securing a place. CACH allows Grade 12 learners who are successful in their applications for higher education but have not been accepted by an institution or who qualify for another programme of choice after the results are released to sign up.

If you are not successful with your grade 12 results, you can sign up on CACH by registering and capturing their details including the field of study and programme of choice via

How to apply on the CACH Online Application Portal | CACH Online Application 2022 -cach.dhet.gov.za 2023
- Open your browser (Chrome, Opera, Internet Explorer etc) on your internet enabled device
- Kindly visit the CACH Online Application Portal through the link below.
- Click on ‘Sign Up’
- When you are on the page, kindly fill in the following details:

- Select your Preferred Communication Method

If you want to start studying in the second semester or in 2022, apply directly to the universities and colleges in which you are interested as soon as the applications open (any time from March onwards) and make sure to get all your documentation in before the closing date. There is no guarantee that the CACH will have enough places for next year.
